Why "Consulcation" exists.
The first note should explain the word in the name.
I've spent a career inside two rooms. In one — the boardroom — people talk about quarters, capability, and the cost of getting it wrong. In the other — the classroom — people talk about potential, promise, and the cost of leaving it untapped. For most of my working life, those rooms had separate doors.
They never should have. Every operator I respect is a teacher — whether they admit it or not. And every great teacher runs something: a classroom, a program, a mission that has to make its numbers. The distance between the two rooms is much smaller than either side pretends.
So we merged the words: consulting + education = consulcation. It isn't wordplay; it's a discipline. Every engagement leaves capability behind. Every program is built to perform. The measure of the work is what keeps working after we're gone.
That's what this space is for — notes from the middle of the work: pipelines and leadership, the yard and the campus and the boardroom, and occasionally the long line of ink that connects them all.
